There is a football tournament on at the moment apparently. I was compelled to go and watch a match last night in the pub. Today my head hurts. Something to do with not having any food and my last drink being Swedish pear cider. I, for one, did not realise Sweden was famed for either pears or cider. Actually, I'm struggling to think of anything Sweden is famous for. However, I doubt whether that demonstrates a lack of Swedish accomplishment throughout history - probably just my ignorance.
If you find somewhere that sells Swedish pear cider, give it a whirl.

My new job is keeping me busy. So much so that it feels I haven't posted for ages. And I haven't. I'm walking to and from the office and, to be honest, one of the last things I want to do when I get in is fire up another computer and do a blog post. Plus the weather has been too nice and I’ve been away at weekends doing Jim’s Stag Do and Jane’s Race for Life.
The walk to the office takes me just under an hour. I was curious the other day as to how many paces it is. I needed a pedometer. Clearly I needed a cool one. I got myself one of these. I’m not sure Jane quite believed me when I messengered her to tell her I had a pedometer and it had 75 LEDs.
I am having a lot of fun putting flashy messages on it. Most of them clean. I need some more cool sayings of 30 characters or less though. Will let you know how I get on.
